M&E Quantity Surveyor

£33,000 - £65,000 DOE (£200 - £350 per day if on a contract basis)



Our client provides quantity surveying, engineering and dispute resolution consultancy services to the construction, petro-nuclear, chemical and rail industries. Due to the rapid growth of the business in the UK and Middle East, they are now looking to recruit an M&E Quantity Surveyor on a contract or permanent basis.



If you have extensive quantity surveying experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join a global company that provides services in Europe, the UK and the UAE. As such, there may be travel opportunities for the successful candidate.



As an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be tasked with delivering and managing service excellence in QS solutions. Your remit will include cost planning, estimating, tender production, tender analysis and risk analysis.



In this varied role, you will be tasked with costing construction methods, preparing business cases, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing specifications and scopes of works. This will require your keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills.



Your duties will include:



- preparing tender and contract documents

- undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work

- assisting in establishing client requirements



To be considered for this position, you must have significant quantity surveying experience. You will have a good attention to detail coupled with an analytical approach.



Whilst not essential, the ideal M&E Quantity Surveyor will have claims submission expertise.



Our client offers this role on either a permanent or contract basis.
